About us
Former COOs and founders who digitalise business processes with applied AI, workflow automation and custom applications. We spent years being responsible for our own operations. Today our clients use what we learned to put the tools of the AI age to work.
Who we are
coompanion is operated by Venturo GmbH and founded by former COOs and startup founders. We map where the work breaks, redesign the process and build the digital version ourselves.
Workflow automation, AI automation, no-code and low-code tools such as n8n, Make and Airtable, and custom applications where nothing off the shelf fits. The architect who designs the process and the engineer who builds it sit in the same team, so there is no handoff between strategy and implementation.
Our three service lines are Automations & AI, Custom Applications and Enablement, so your teams can run and extend what we build. We work with Mittelstand companies, scale-ups and public administration in DACH and Spain, with a focus on mobility, logistics, real estate and financial services.
Not sure where to start? The free Readiness Check takes ten minutes and comes with a 45-minute expert call. coompanion is not affiliated with Coompanion Sverige (coompanion.se), the Swedish cooperative development network.
Readiness Check, analysis, implementation and enablement. Teams that own the tools, methods and mindset to transform their own work.
When an operational fix has product potential, we drive it into a new venture together with the company and our partners.
Where we come from
We have worked in every seat: as employees in corporates and SMEs, as external consultants, and as founders, CEOs and COOs of venture-backed startups where we built multinational teams from scratch. That operational experience is why our projects hold up in daily operations.
From a city administration automating on its own hardware to a real-estate investor processing 700 documents a month.
Document processing for STM Invest, debt collection automation for ANYMOVE, IoT material logistics for Deutsche Bahn.
An AI-powered document process live for more than 730 days at STM Invest, return on investment in under three months.

Robert is an industrial management expert focused on operational excellence, digitalization, and automation, with a background in management consulting and a rare ability to bridge theory with real-world implementation. As former COO of ANYMOVE, he built scalable operations from scratch, leveraging AI, no-code, and low-code tools to drive efficiency and empower teams. Beyond work, Robert advocates for environmental protection and finds balance in the kitchen — approaching cooking with the same curiosity and precision he brings to his work.
Marc Keivan built a mobility startup from scratch. As COO of Avocargo, he scaled e-bike fleet operations across multiple cities, navigating the chaos of an early-stage company while keeping logistics and team culture intact. This is what makes him a natural coompanion: he's not theorizing about operational excellence, he has lived it. Fluent in German, English, Spanish, and French, he connects easily with teams across cultures and markets. Off the clock, he's usually on his bike or a hiking trail, which might explain why he believes the best ideas come from people who are actually in the field.
What we believe in
The team doing the work knows where it breaks. Our job is to give them the design and the tools, not to explain their own process back to them.
We have preferences, not allegiances. The process decides whether the answer is an automation, an AI step, a custom tool, or a rewritten checklist and no software at all.
If your dependency on us grows over time, we did the job wrong. Teams should end up running and extending what we built.
Every decision gets tied back to money or time. If a build cannot pay for itself inside six months, we will say so before we start.
Our first AI-powered process has been running for years on the same simple stack. That is the standard we hold new builds to.
We sat in the chair. We know the difference between a slide and a process that runs on a Monday morning.
45 minutes, free. Tell us about one process, we tell you what we would do with it.
